DON´T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE

Here we have a few reminders about tax season deadlines:

#1: S Corporation and Partnership Filing Deadline

S Corporation and Partnership tax returns are due on Monday, March 15th.
Any returns not completed by Friday, March 12th will be put on extension. No action is required on your part.

#2: Maryland Personal Property Tax Returns

Maryland Personal Property Tax returns are due Thursday, April 15th. These returns are not electronically filed. They must be signed and mailed to the State of Maryland, along with a $300 filing fee.

#3: Personal Tax Return Filing Deadline

The deadline for filing an individual tax return is Thursday, April 15th. We require that completed tax documents be submitted to our office by Monday, March 15th to ensure timely filing. For documents received after March 15th, we will certainly do our best to complete the tax return timely. However, we can’t guarantee it and may have to extend. For those that have already submitted documents, we are working diligently to complete your tax return.

Thank you for your patience.

#4: Extensions

Any individual tax return not completed, including signed file forms, by Friday, April 9th will be put on Extension automatically. If you have not submitted your tax information and want an extension filed, you must contact our office by Friday, April 9th. Any required extension payment will be calculated based on the information we have at that time.

#5: Retirement Contribution Deadlines

April 15, 2021: This is the last day to open an IRA or make an IRA contribution for the 2020 tax year, even if you’ve gotten an extension for filing your taxes

#6: Post Tax Season Recharge

Our office will be closed the week of April 19th to allow our staff to recharge their batteries and spend time with their family. Thanks for your understanding.

As always, we thank you for your continued trust in the BradyRenner team to serve your tax and accounting needs.
