Final Steps, Policies And Deadlines For Tax Return Preparation

Published by BradyRenner CPAs | March 10, 2020

Good day! I hope this email finds you well during this tax season.  We wanted to send out a few important reminders and deadlines:

If you have already sent in your tax information, thank you.  We are working diligently to get your return completed.  If you have not yet sent in your information, this is a reminder that we must receive it by March 15th to guarantee timely filing.

Anything received after March 15th may go on extension.  Of course, we will do our best to finalize things by the deadline.  If we have your tax information, we will file the extension automatically.

If you will not be able to turn in your tax information by April 10th, you must contact the office to request an extension.  That will not be done automatically.

All signed eFile forms must be returned to our office by Friday, April 10th. We will perform no further tax return filings after Good Friday, April 10th.

Business Returns: The S corporation and Partnership filing deadline is March 15th.  Extensions have already been filed to be on the safe side.  If your return has been completed but you have not yet returned signed eFile forms, please do so as soon as possible.

Maryland Personal Property Returns: Please also remember that MD Personal Property returns are due April 15th and must be mailed to the State of MD, along with the $300 filing fee.  THEY ARE NOT EFILED.

Our office will be closed beginning Saturday, April 11th and will re-open Monday, April 20th to allow our staff to recover and spend some much needed time with their families.

As always, thank you for choosing BradyRenner CPAs and helping make this a smooth and successful tax season.

Sincerely,
Matt
