BradyRenner CPAs is committed to developing and supporting the future talent of the public accounting profession. As evidence of that commitment, we’ve partnered with two of the top universities in the Baltimore-Washington region to create strong talent initiatives for both internships and future employees of the firm.

Towson University

Partner Liaison: Matthew R. Brady, ’01

Towson University is a leading public university located in Baltimore County, Maryland. With over 20,000 students enrolled, the university is one of the largest public universities in Maryland and has been recognized as a top public university for research, teaching quality and student value by U.S. News & World Report as well as Forbes and Kiplinger’s.

The Towson University Department of Accounting offers one of only three accounting programs among those at Maryland state institutions that is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). In addition, the the School of Business holds dual accreditation in both business and accounting, a distinction which is held by only one in every four universities with AACSB accreditation. The accounting program prepares students for both career opportunities and graduate study in accounting and business, and is recognized for its excellence in preparing students successfully for the CPA exam and ensuring that they possess practical, applicable professional experience upon graduation.

BradyRenner CPAs partners with the Department of Accounting as an internship program host organization; by actively recruiting future talent with the university; and through the role that Matt Brady, President & CEO of the firm and a 2001 graduate of the program, serves as a member of the department’s Accounting Advisory Board.

The Towson University Accounting Advisory Board is comprised of recognized leaders from the public accounting and corporate finance professions. The mission of the board is to act as an external business advisory board to support the achievement and continued fulfillment of the stated mission of the Department of Accounting.
